Attunement
to the Invisible: Applying Paulo Freire’s Problem-Posing Education to
"Invisibility"
Lara M. Trout, University

THIS
ARTICLE APPLIES Paulo Freire's problem-posing education, by means
of John Dewey's conception of habit, to a pressing but commonly overlooked
area of philosophical concern: the formation of epistemological habits
in children through the formal educational process. More specifically,
I apply problem-posing education to the habit of attuning oneself
to the invisible.
